This blog is centered around collecting stories that build common ground between cyclists and non-cyclists alike. We hope to bring scientific data, statistics and facts back to life in a complementary way by harnessing the power of storytelling.
It may also be a useful communication tool by cycling advocates wanting to influence decision makers to make cycling a greater priority in urban planning and policy.

The name ‘biketarian’ was coined by Chloe Williston who just learned to ride her bike. Her definition of a biketarian is: “Someone who has just learned to ride and who really likes it.”
